I Feel Like My Entire Childhood is a LIE

Who knew?

Didn't we ALL used to turn in our tootsie pop wrappers that had the indian shooting a star and get a free tootsie pop?? I definitely remember doing that, and my kids have done it once or twice, too!

Well, brace yourself...it's NOT TRUE. This rumor has apparently plagued the company since the 1930's...shopkeepers have tried to send tootsie pop wrappers in for YEARS to be redeemed - to no avail. The company STILL sends out over 150 letters per week regarding this apparent rumor.

So tell me, does this mean I owe the Go-fer Foods in Moab, Utah some money for all the free tootsie pops I got? Uh oh.
