Let's Go Ride a Bike

It's happened. We have taken the training wheels off of Dylan's bike. He is finally going to learn to ride it on two wheels.

Here's Matt with Dylan - talking him up before the first try. This is scary stuff!

Here they go again! Zack is riding along for moral support. Oh, I am SO glad I am not the one running alongside the bike! Hallelujah for Dad!

He's riding on his own! Go Dylan!!

NOT happy about trying again.
Mom: Hey Dylan, that was awesome! You were great!
Dad: Dylan, that was great! Give us a thumbs up!
Dylan: (see below)

Zack, being silly and enjoying the fact that it is not HIM having to learn, and fondly recalling his days of screaming and crying while learning to ride his bike. Ahh, memories...

He's doing it again! All alone! Go, go, go Dylan!

Mom: All done for today! How are you feeling now, kiddo?
Dylan: (see below)

Lesson 1: We all survived, and even got a Fudgesicle afterward to make it all better. Can't wait for the next lesson!

Waaaaay to go Dylan! This is a big step! We love all of the pictures from this week's festivities. And we love that we don't have to just settle for pictures now, we get to see y'all in person! Love that!

I was the one running along side my children when they learned how to ride. Getting past the tears is tough. After that it is great. Looks like Dylan will be ready to be a missionary. Good job Dylan!
