Daddy's Girl

I love my Dad. Hard to believe, but he is actually turning 60 this weekend. I love that I was his first little girl. I got 5 years of him, all to myself. None of the rest of my 7 siblings can say that. I love that he is a HUGE sports fan. I love that he is so kind-hearted and always there to lend a hand when needed. I love that he is a fun grandpa. I love how much he adores my mother. I love that he works so very hard to support his family. I love his sense of humor. I know that I can always call him to rescue me, no matter what.

As a kid, I loved watching him play basketball and baseball. I still think of him to this DAY when I see a 3rd baseman. As far as I am concerned, NONE of them are as good as my Dad was. I loved playing catch with him for hours in the front yard. I loved to fish, camp and hike with my Dad. I loved playing frisbee with him. He was/is SO good at everything!

And I love that no matter where I may be, or what I may be doing, or how old I get, I will always be my Daddy's little girl.

Happy 60th b-day Dad.
