Oh, I'd totally use them in my own home. Toddler begging for a 2nd piece of candy - card him. Husband whining for dinner- card him. I love it.
YIKES! Don't tell my husband and kids about these things. I think I would be on receiving end of one... or more!
Do you think it would be more polite to use the card or just say, "excuse me, could you please stop talking?"

Oh man Nicole, my pre teacher mind is all over these cards! Can you imagine the effect they might have on a classroom? DANG! Get me some of those!
These remind me of the comments in Austin Powers when he was saying "Zip it good, www.zip.com" snapping his hand to cut people off. I did this in class once (high school teenagers) and they thought it was funny. They were doing back to me, but it was hilarious.
